(I may have identified a bit with the main character Marjane . Ok, I identified a lot with Marjane. And, by the way, I met the real Momo when I was in Amsterdam.Yeah. I'm that cool.)
“Back off! Get your own sandwich!” was the tagline of a TV advert for Maple Leaf sandwich meat a few years ago in Canada. The commercial consisted of women in a self-defence class defending their lunch boxes from potential attackers. It wasn’t very good, so forgettable in fact that it hasn’t even made it onto YouTube. But the slogan remains in my vocabulary as a metaphor for the way I approach life. I’m self-centered in that my world revolves around me, not that I expect yours to as well. I like to think I thrive in solitude, but get lonely when left alone too long. I need space, have issues with authority figures, and push people away more than I mean to. I’ll never share my sandwich... [edit: I rarely share my sandwich, and when I do, it means a lot].

I really need to keep up with what's on more. Harry told me about this they day after it left St Andrews.
I still haven't seen it.
My favourite part is the imagined conversation between Bakunin and God...
